Brief description

The main motive of this novel is the relationship of two young women - self-confident and charming Emily and her best friend Tanzie who is rather shy. They decide to make the dream they had when they were children come true - to become actresses. Will they reach the desired success? And if so, will they be able to remain friends after all that?

The characters

Emily Preston - She always goes straight to her goal and she always gets what she wants. She's an unbelieveably strong person and nothing in the world can stop her. She's a perfectionist and she doesn't like competition.

Tanzie Werner - She's totally different than Emily; quiet, shy and her confidence is low. She wouldn't probably have enough courage to do anything without Emily, but soon her big talent is revealed, which leads to their rivality.

Brian Nicholson - He's Tanzie's fioncé; he loves her very much, he'd do anything for her. Unfortunately, there is one problem - he hates Emily.

Ryan Bentley - He's Tanzie's old friend from high school. He's visiting her in the most inapropriate time - just when she's preparing for the wedding with Brian. But Emily's single and she fancies Ryan.

An excerpt from the book

In that moment a rage burst out in Emily - a rage she had never experienced before. She made a finite decision - to get Ryan no matter what. Now it wasn't just because he was hot. She had to beat Tanzie.

"Tanzie? That doesn't seem like a lucky choice," she said. "She's just about to get married. Moreover, she definitely doesn't love you. Me, on the contrary... I am the absolutely right choice," she continued with her sexy voice. "Single, pretty... and I want you."

"For some unexplainable reason."

She got closer to him again, her lips so tempting it was physically hurting Ryan.

"I bet you're gonna kiss me," she said playfully.

Ryan's pulse got faster. "Has anybody ever bet against you?" he asked breathlessly.

She pretended to think for a while. "No."

"Then I guess I have no other option," he wheezed and he grabbed her in his arms.

"I guarantee you this is gonna be the best making out of your life."

"I believe you," he said - and he did believe her - and he kissed her.
